On May 21-27, 2017 in Ankara, Turkey took place "TURK DILI YILI - 2017" congress of the Turkic ethnic groups. 250 scientists from 33 country participated in this great congress and made reports. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan awarded the 10 scientists with the title "Scientist, who contributed to the development of the Turkic language". Among the awarded were scientists from Turkey, England, Germany, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Professor of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, doctor of philological sciences Gulbanu Kossymova took this title.
