Debate with schoolchildren on bullying and cyberbullying

On April 11, 2023 school-lyceum No. 173 of Education Department of Almaty hosted a debate on bullying and cyberbullying in accordance with Paragraph 5 (Articles 46-26) of the Law on Education. The organizers were the student clubs "Leader" and "Progress" of Abai KazNPU.

The event had the following objectives: educational: expansion of knowledge about bullying and cyberbullying, teaching human values, explaining how to prevent bullying and cyberbullying, involvement in teamwork, and developing: learning about bullying and cyberbullying and applying the knowledge, developing logical, critical thinking, research and organizational, creative communication skills, professional speech style and public speaking, tolerant attitude towards the opinion of others, self-tolerance.

Participants of the debate are students of Abai KazNPU and 10th Class pupils of school-lyceum No. 173. Responsible for the event - Associate Professor A.A. Alymbekova, Senior Lecturer R.E.
