Methods of teaching a foreign language

On 13 April 2022, Ilyas A.B. and A.H. Pazilova, teachers of the Department of Practical English of the Institute of Philology, organised an online webinar «Methods of teaching a foreign language».

During the webinar, several methods of teaching a foreign language were analyzed. By choosing, analyzing and understanding these methods, teachers have decided that they can use in their lessons the methods they find most effective.

Participating teachers and students learned about innovative technologies in English classes. The use of new technologies in the lesson in accordance with modern requirements makes the lesson interesting for students or schoolchildren, these technologies are a very effective tool in explaining a new lesson or repeating previous lessons, opening up a lot of opportunities for teachers. The event was attended by 37 teachers and students.
