On May 11, 2017,at Abai KazNPU took place the meeting of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work V.N. Kossov with the Scientist-geographer of the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) Mr. Marek Majewski.
Mr. Majewski arrived in our university with a two-week course of lectures for students of the Institute of Geography and Natural Sciences in the framework of the "Erasmus +" program.
          Vladimir Kossov told about our university, about how science is developing and about the successes that have been achieved in this direction to Polish guest.
           Mr. Majewski shared his impressions about our university and Kazakhstan, spoke about the activities of the Pomeranian Academy and the peculiarities of teaching his subject, the basis of which is the natural environment, the landscape, the sights of Northern Europe.
