Chess 2022

On November 12, 2022 the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports conducted a chess competition among students of Abai KazNPU.

The aim was to develop and promote the game of chess among students, as well as the selection of students for the national chess team of Abai KazNPU to participate in the Sports Student League of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports T.B. Iskakov, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sport R.S. Kokebayeva and Professor E.M. Mukhiddinov.

According to the results of the competition the first place was taken by the team of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, the second - by the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, the third - by the Institute of Philology. The winning teams and the most active students were awarded certificates of merit.
