Professional development for primary schools teachers in Turkestan

From November 1 to 6, 2022, within the framework of memorandum signed between Abai KazNPU and «Palace of Schoolchildren» of Human Development Department of Turkestan city, the professional development course for primary school teachers on «Algorithms for ensuring quality education in academic subjects in primary school» was organized.

The lectures were delivered by Professor Aziya Jumabayeva, Head of Department of Primary Education, Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Senior Lecturer Zhupat Astambayeva. The course was attended by more than 100 participants - primary schools` teachers, methodologists and university professors from Turkestan. The lecturers` work consisted of improving teachers` theoretical knowledge and providing them with methodological support. They answered the questions of the trainees and shared new ideas and opportunities for applying innovative approaches to teaching and learning related to the implementation of the content of the updated primary education programs. At the end of the course, the trainees were presented with a certificate signed by representatives of the Human Development Department of Turkestan «Palace of Schoolchildren» and the Centre for Professional Development and Distance Education of Abai KazNPU.
