ROBO FEST-2022 Robotics Tournament

The inter-institutional robotics tournament ROBO FEST-2022, organized by Abai KazNPU, the «Abai Robo» Robotics Club of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics and the «Stem Park» Centre, was held on November 1, 2022.

The event was solemnly opened by Bakhyt Sydykhov, director of Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, Zhasulan Mukhashev, deputy director for educational work, and Pirali Raiymbek, chairman of the Youth Affairs Department.

According to the results of three phases of the six teams prizes were distributed in the following order: I Skyluna (2nd year students) -20 000 KZT; II Kep1er (2nd year undergraduate students)-15 000 KZT; III Tesla (1st year students) -10 000 KZT.

Each round was a great experience for each participant for further development and improvement of knowledge in robotics. It is said not in vain that where there is competition there is development. This tournament contributed to the interest of other students who participated as spectators. The jury members expressed their thanks for the excellent organization and excellent work of tournament. They also donated an additional 10,000 KZT to the prize fund on their own behalf.

This event is considered the best result of the work done for the robotics club «Abai Robo».
