December 28 is the day of national mourning

In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K. Tokaev dated December 27, 2019, the 28th of December 2019 was declared the day of national mourning due to multiple deaths in the passenger plane crash in the Talgar district of Almaty region.

According to paragraph 4, Article 4 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 4, 2007 No. 258 «On State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (hereinafter referred to as the Law), on the occasion of national mourning, the State flag lowers to half the height of the flagpole during the period of national mourning.

Given the foregoing, it is necessary to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Law, as well as cancel all planned cultural events during national mourning.
