Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages held in honor of the 175th anniversary of the great icon Abai contest of expressive reading of his works

On the 2nd November, 2019, the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Confucius Institute of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, in honor of the 175th anniversary of the great poet, enlightener, philosopher of the Kazakh people, the founder of new Kazakh realistic written literature Abai Kunanbayev, organized a competition «Абайдың қара сөздері мен өлеңдерін қазақ және қытай тілдерінде мәнерлеп оқу» among Almaty universities students studying in the Chinese language department.

The purpose of the competition is to deepen Abai`s creativity in the heart of the young generation, to foster a sense of pride in our country and its enlighteners. Advocacy of the heritage of the great Abai and his philosophical thoughts.

From Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, as a member of the jury, senior teacher Almabekova Asel Muratkhanovna was invited. Students from 6 Almaty universities of took part in the competition. Students of our university Tuleshova Saule and Zhusanbay Asel, as well as their supervisors, master, senior teacher Almabekova Asel and candidate of pedagogical sciences, university professor Alikhankyzy Gulia were awarded letters of thanks and commemorative gifts from the Confucius Institute of Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
