Honors College students at «Tamos education» school

On November 29, 2023, students of the Honors College of Abai KazNPU organized a quiz for the curators and students of the «Tamos education» school, aimed at comprehensive harmonious development.

There are many projects being undertaken in our university to improve the quality of education and make changes in the field of education. One of them is the Honors College project, which is systematically used in many higher educational institutions of the world.

The goal of the project is to provide skills along with deep knowledge to talented students studying pedagogical specialties. For this purpose, a number of talented students will be created and certified training programs will be introduced in such areas as emotional intelligence, criterial evaluation system, development of research skills of learners, especially in specialized schools (NIS, RFMS, BIL, BINOM, etc.). That is, talented students of our university will be sent to specialized leading schools for practice.

For example, last academic year Honors College students were accepted by the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics (RFMS) without competition. And this year, the 4th year students of the Honors College are receiving job offers from the «Tamos Education» school.

In turn, we developed for the students of our project for the next semester on pedagogical leadership (in English), the use of information technologies in lessons (in Russian) and new teaching methods (in Kazakh).
