Pedagogical practice of 3rd-year students of the Department of Russian Language and Literature

Since January 20, 3rd-year students of specialities "Russian Language and Literature" and "Russian language in schools with non-Russian language of instruction" of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University have been undergoing pedagogical practice in schools of Almaty. Among the educational institutions hosting students are Gymnasium No. 6, Gymnasium No. 8, Gymnasium No. 162, School No. 105, School No. 19, School-Gymnasium No. 168 and others.

Each group of students is assigned practice supervisors-teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature. During the internship, students meet with their mentors, methodologists, and school teachers, prepare teaching materials and lesson plans, conduct lessons and open classes, and report on their work.

Before the beginning of the internship, an orientation conference was organised, where third-year students and their supervisors received all the necessary information about the internship process, its goals and objectives. It is important to note that each internship stage is recorded in electronic systems: students note their attendance, upload lesson plans, and receive grades and comments from their mentors.

Pedagogical practice is an integral part of the training of future teachers of Russian language and literature, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, gain valuable experience in the school environment and develop professional competencies.
