The event dedicated to the Day of Languages — "The fate of the language is the fate of the people" September 25, 2024, Abay Kaznpu, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Department of Pedagogy, Head - Associate Professor, Zh.M. Akparova with students of the educational program "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" as part of the educational practice of the 2nd year organized a festive event on the topic: "The fate of the language is the fate of the people", in honor of the Kazakh poet, researcher, Turkologist, publicist, teacher, translator, figure of the Alash movement, founder of the Kazakh alphabet and the textbook of the Kazakh language, national teacher Akhmet Baitursynuly, the International Day of Languages, which was moved to September 5 this year. The purpose of the event: to increase students` respect for their native language, to awaken in them love for their people and country. To raise the status of the Kazakh language, to support the legacy of our ancestors who laid the foundation of the native language. The educational event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Associate Professor G. Abayeva, and teachers of the Department of Pedagogy. They paid special attention to the educational value and content of the event, thanked the organizer and students, and highly appreciated their work.
The event included a number of exciting quizzes dedicated to the Kazakh language. Students were active in games related to the history of the language and its grammar. These tasks not only entertained, but also enriched the knowledge of the participants.
With the help of modern AI technologies, the wise words of Akhmet Baitursynov and poetess Fariza Ongarsynova were reproduced, creating the feeling that the authors themselves were sharing their thoughts with the audience.
