Participation of Abai KazNPU teaching staff in the jury of the contest «Best Music Director - 2022» of pre-school institutions of the city

From November 28 to December 2, 2022 doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of music education and choreography of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, Lora Narikbayeva invited by KSU «City scientific-methodical center of new technologies in education» Education Department of Almaty took part in the jury of the II stage (I stage - district) of the city contest «Best Music Director - 2022» of preschool educational and training organizations.

The event was held in order to increase the prestige of the profession of a music director, to stimulate the work of music directors of preschool organizations, to improve the quality of music education. Musical directors of kindergartens in Almaty with at least 5 years of experience, as well as children aged 5 years participated in the competition.

The competition was held in three directions: 1) Master class (with teachers or with children); 2) Children`s orchestra (with non-traditional musical instruments); 3) «Friends with music» (games and exercises for the development of musical abilities of children). According to the results of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas of I, II, and III degrees.

As part of the competition jury members saw the valuable teaching experience of music directors, held an open professional dialogue and expressed wishes for further cooperation in order to improve the education and development of children of preschool age love of art, interest in folk traditions and culture, the different types and genres of musical activity
