Training session in the form of an oral scientific journal

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Botagul Turgunbaeva conducted with the 1st year doctoral students the final lesson in the discipline «Philosophy and Methodology of Pedagogy». The goal of the lesson was to show (and consolidate!) the application of the knowledge and skills that doctoral students acquired in this subject.

The peculiarity of this lesson was that it was held in the form of an oral scientific journal. A special version of the journal was created, and its content was compiled in accordance with the content of the topic. Each section of the journal covered theoretical and methodological issues of scientific research. All creatively presented theoretical materials were interesting to readers.

Discussion of journal articles took place in an interactive form: scientific discussion, methods of the RAFT, Brain-Ring, Synquain, Expert Council. Doctoral students of the specialties «History and Law», «Kazakh Language and Literature», «Pedagogy and Psychology», «Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education», «Defectology», «Pre-school Education and Upbringing» made their materials and fully disclosed their topics.

Under the heading «Interesting Methodology», the participants solved creative tasks confirming their knowledge. Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Methodologist, author of the textbook «Philosophy and Methodology of Pedagogy», Sharkul Taubayeva was an honored guest of the lesson.

The lesson was completed with feedback on the «Circle of Assessment» strategy and a special song dedicated to this topic.
