Extensive scientific internship
In the period from November 18 to 28, 2019, the second year undergraduates of the Institute of History and Law, specializing in «6M011400-History», underwent a scientific internship at Vytauto Didziojo University in Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania.
During the academic trip, students took part in discussions on topics such as educational policy, culture, science, linguistic policy, integration trends and other topics, as well as attended seminars and informative lectures by highly qualified specialists of the university, Professor Lutauras Degesis, Professor Al Petrulite, Professor Giedre Rishkute Karinauskene and Associate Professor Natalia Avina.
During their academic internships, students learned about Vytauto Didziojo`s best national practices and shared their impressions of this. In addition, students visited historical places in the «old part of the city» dedicated to the history of the Republic of Lithuania. Students visiting the Gediminas castle shared their even greater impressions of the castle, its beautiful, attractive appearance, evidence of the heroic deeds of the king, an amazing historical tower and the amazement of architecture.
Undergraduates who completed the internship expressed their sincere gratitude to the university institute and administration, noting this internship as an advancement of another step in the field of science, and stating that such an internship is unique for studying not only domestic but also Western academic experience.
