Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 25 years

On October 17-18, 2019, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Archival business in the modern period: problems, practices, innovations» dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Almaty. Foreign experts attended the event.

Deputy Director of the Archive of the National Institute of Memory of Poland, Chief Archivist, Doctor of Social Sciences of the Catholic Church, Professor S.Ya. Koller, Deputy Director for scientific and methodological work of the Center for documentation of public organizations of the Sverdlovsk region of Russia V.V. Kaplyukov, head of the sector of control and work with archives of the archival agency of the State Registration Service under the Government of Kyrgyzstan A.N.Rysaliev, Head of the research program «Eastern Archive» of the Institute of Solidarity and Courage. V.Piletsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences E.Rogozinsky, a researcher at the Museum of World War II, PhD Dr. D.Panto (Poland), as well as a number of other foreign guests, specialists and scientists from the central, regional archival institutions of Kazakhstan, made congratulations in honor of the anniversary of this institution.

At the event, the Director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor B.Zhumagulov handed a congratulatory letter on behalf of the Rector of Abai KazNPU T.Balykbaуev and expressed wishes from the entire staff of the university.

After the ceremony, famous historians, academician M.Koigeldiev and professor B.Zhapparov made a presentation of the book «Organization of archival business in Kazakhstan: practice, problems, innovations».

The conference was continued by the reports of leading scientists and specialists on pressing issues of archiving and documentation. The event ended with work in sections and a debriefing.
