The opening ceremony of the exhibition «Treasures of Egypt»

On September 18, 2019, as part of the long-term cooperation of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Center for Culture and Education of Almaty with the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the opening of the exhibition «Treasures of Egypt» was held. Teaching staff and students of the Institute of History and Law attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition displays exhibits reflecting the history of the pharaoh dynasty: household items, products from papyrus, leather, metal, wood, as well as decorative and calligraphic art products, including sculptural figures of gods, ancient lamps, kumgans, jugs, decorative vases and plates from various materials, caskets inlaid with mother of pearl and bone, paintings depicting ancient necropolises and much more. Our students examined this exhibition with great interest.
