ALASH MEMBERS, WHO HAVE DESIRED ABOUT THE  INDEPENDENCE

        On 15  September, 2017 on behalf of the rector Abai KazNPU, Professor T.O. Balykbayeva director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor B. Zhumagulov took part in the republican scientific and practical conference "Azattyk  tanın ansagan Alash arystarı / Alash members, who have desired about the  independence" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Alash movement and the 130th anniversary of the birth of the head of the Western branch of Alashorda  Zhahanshi Dosmukhamedov, which was held in the West Kazakhstan region, Syrym district in the village of Zhympity.

        Professor B. Zhumagulov, who took part in the conference as a representative of our university, presented a congratulatory letter from the rector of  Abai  KazNPU Takir  Balykbayev and collection of scientific works on the Alash movement written by the university scientists to the district akim (mayor) Tolegen Toregaliyev.

          The place of the conference was not chosen by chance. In 1918-1919 years  Zhympity was the center, the capital of the Western branch of Alashorda and everyone knows that Alashorda member, lawyer Zhahanshi Dosmukhamedov was the head of the Western branch of Alashorda.

       The event was organized by the head of the Foundation for the Support of Scientific Research Aibolat Kurymbayev and under the leadership of the mayor`s office  of Syrym District. Well-known scientists, public figures of the cities of Kazakhstan and Russia, workers of museums and archives, descendants of Alash figures, representatives of the mass media were at the event.

      Traditionally, representatives of the akimat welcomed the guests on their way to the mausoleum of Syrym-batyr. The meeting was held with a festive mood and treats.

        Before the beginning of the conference, the participants visited Olenti secondary school, which since 2006 is named after Zhahanshi Dosmukhamedov, where  participants took part in the  ceremony of opening  the school museum. And this year the bust of Zhakhshi Dosmukhamedov was installed on the square in front of the school.

 On the same day, the participants visited the Alash Museum in the district center after reconstruction. This museum is located in the historical building of the Western Branch of Alashorda. The building is protected by the state.

         Closer to lunch in the regional culture center  the republican scientific and practical conference "Azattyk  tanın ansagan Alash arystarı" started its work. The work of the republican conference were opened by the deputy akim (mayor) of the region Bagdad Azbayev and akim (mayor) of Syrym district Tolegen Toregaliyev.

          The conference was held in plenary session mode. At the plenary session of the conference, writer and scientist-alash researcher Tursyn Zhurtbay,  associate professor of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Dametken Suleimenova, professor of the Shakarim State University, archaeologist Amantai Issin, director of the Institute of History and Law of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  Bolat Zhumagulov, leading researcher of the Institute of the History of the State of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences Kundyzai Yerimbetova, Associate Professor of the History of Russia Department  of Astrakhan State University Andrei Syzranov, public figure, singer, composer Kusmiliya Nurkasym, Candidate of Biological Sciences, member of the public-educational society "Adilet" Sholpanai Amanzholova, lecturer of the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University, candidate of historical sciences, Dr. Yerdaulet Berlibayev, and also descendants of Zh. Dosmukhamedov, Bizhan Zhankadamov, Baktygali Bisenov, Medet Tilepov.
