History and Origins of Turkic Peoples
Within the framework of the Decade of Science and Cooperation of Abai KazNPU with the Department of History at Yeditepe University (Turkey) under the leadership of its head Ahmet Tashagil, Professor of World History Department at the Institute of History and Law M.K.Tulekova organized an international scientific conference "History and sources of Turkic peoples".
The event was attended by scientists-researchers: Professor of Yeditepe University Ahmet Tashagyl, Professor of Vecikha Sefa Fuat Hekimoglu of Qutahiya Dumlupynar University (Turkey), lecturer of Istanbul University Oraz Sapashev, scientists of Ankara University (Turkey), Kokand State Pedagogical University (Uzbekistan) and employees of scientific educational institutions of our country: the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan; Institute of State History of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan; the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan; Al-Far Al-Far Kazakh National University. The moderators were Professor M.K.Tulekova and Head of the Department of World History K.M.Rustem. The conference was held offline and online at the Zoom platform. The working languages were Kazakh, Russian, English and Turkish.
The conference was opened by E.A. Buribayev, Vice-Rector for Research at Abai KazNPU and G.K. Kenzhebayev, Director of the Institute of History and Law and Corresponding Member of the Kazakh National Academy of Sciences, who also delivered a congratulatory address. The audience showed incredible interest in the issues discussed at the conference, all plenary papers were listened to with great attention, participants actively asked interesting questions, commented and expressed their position.
