Political and philosophical processes in national history education were discussed

On January, 2023 the Institute of history and law organized the republican scientific practical conference "Political-philosophical processes of native historical education", devoted to the 70th anniversary of Honoured Worker of Education of the RK, graduate of Abai KazNPU, doctor of historical sciences, professor Berlibayev Bakdaulet Turbekovich. Scientists and teachers of universities, research organizations of academic level were invited to participate in the conference and almost all of them actively presented their reports.

The work of the conference was conducted in the following directions:

1. Achievements of the world historical science of the XX century and the theory of knowledge of the world.

2. The oral (mythological) history of the ancient Kazakhs.

3. The future of "historical and cultural heritage" and "world history base".

4. A macromodel for the content of education in the 21st century "CULTURE. EDUCATION. HISTORY".

The conference was held in Kazakh and Russian. The main speakers shared their stories in the form of wide and open debate, related not only to life and scientific-pedagogical activity of Jubilee, but also to new trends of political-philosophical processes of national history education. All participants were given the opportunity to speak freely and share their thoughts. Not the personal qualities of the scholar were touched upon but the general aspect of the historical phenomenon in today`s life, and views on the most positive issues were expressed.

During the conference a presentation of the book by Berlibayev B.T. "History and cognition" (Life is a river, thought is a sea) was made. The book is written in the context of historical educational thinking and is one of the brightest and newest works not only for students, but also for the general public. This work by Berlibayev B.T. is especially valuable because on the 5th of January 2021 the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev showed the goals and objectives of building a just society and effective state, consisting of 4 parts, and effectively used the ideas from the article "Independence is above all", which focused on the history of Kazakhstan.

Thus, this scientific conference of national scale ended with a cognitive-educational discussion.
