History of Kazakhstan: new sources and conclusions in modern research within the framework of the XIV Kasymbayev readings

On December 27, 2022, the Department of «History of Kazakhstan named after Academician T.S. Sadykov» of the Institute of History and Law within the framework of the «XIV Kasymbayev readings» held an international scientific and practical conference on «History Kazakhstan: new sources and conclusions in modern research».

The conference discussed such issues as: «Studying the problems of the history of Kazakhstan of the XVIII-early XX centuries in the works of Professor Kasymbayev Zh. K.: continuity and relevance», «Modern historical science: new approaches, ideas, research methods», «New technologies and innovative approaches in history teaching».

The event was opened by the director of the Institute of History and Law Kenzhebaev Gabit and made an introductory speech. During the conference, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kabuldinov Ziyabek held a presentation of books published within the framework of grant topics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Director of the research center «Aitylgan Tarikh» Myrzatayeva Zabira presented books published in the period from 2012 to 2022 by the scientific laboratory «Aitylgan Tarikh» under the leadership of Academician Koigeldiev Mambet.

The conference hosted a presentation of books published under the program of grant funding for scientific research of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the project IRN AP08857194 "Visual anthropology and the history of images of Kazakhstan culture in XIX - XXI centuries: evolution and gaining of agency", scientific adviser, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Dalayeva Tenlik.

The presentations were made by Professor of the University of Hacettepe (Turkey) Ozkul Chabanogly, teachers of the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan) Kambarova Shoirakhon, Bakhriddinov Kahramon, Karimov Kahramon. The teaching staff of the department and students of the historian spoke, shared interesting memories and expressed their opinion. The conference was organized and held at a high level.
