Studying and popularizing the heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi

On September 13, 2022 the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU held a round table on «The study and popularizing the heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi» - the outstanding representative of Sufi literature, thinker, poet in the Muslim world.

Director of the Institute of History and Law G. Kenzhebayev and Head of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines J. Simtikov made opening remarks. The significant rich heritage of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi was outlined by the speakers: Professor S. Nurmuratov, Doctors of Science S. Omarov and D. Kusainov, Master A. Meirmanov. They stressed the role of the great scientist and his work on the outlook and culture of the Kazakh people, highlighting his calls for justice and good.

Teachers and students of the institute took part in the event. There was a wide exchange of views.
