Activities to explain the holding of the popular referendum

The head of the Department of Political Science and Social Philosophy of the Institute of History and Law, a well-known political scientist, Professor Zhomart Simtikov has held an information campaign on the referendum, announced in the country on June 5, 2022, to adopt amendments and additions to the Constitution of Kazakhstan. As you know, their aim is to develop and strengthen democratic processes in the country.

As a member of the referendum explanatory committee in the Medeu district of Almaty, Zh. K. Simtikov visited several facilities in the city. In particular, he met with the staff of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl, Central Department Store, hotel «Kazakhstan», outpatient clinic #1, maternity hospital #2, and answered all questions of the participants of these events. The meetings were active and fruitful: many questions were asked and wishes for the continued prosperity of Kazakhstan were expressed.
