Secularism and Religious Relations: «Religious Literacy Among Youth»

On April 20, 2022, within the framework of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program, the teacher of the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law, Master of Religious Studies Mamyrbaev Didar Zhetpisovich, with the participation of the chief expert of the Department of Religious Expertise of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Duisenbaev Jamalbek, conducted educational work with students of specialties «6В01602 - History-religious studies» and «5В013000-History-religious studies» on the topic: «Secularism and religious relations: «Religious literacy among young people».

The main goal of educational work: the formation of religious literacy among young people and the search for answers to some questions regarding graduation projects of 4th year students and requiring religious expertise.

During the event, the chief expert of the Department of Religious Expertise of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Duisenbaev Jamalbek acted as a speaker, he introduced students to the religious situation in society, the state policy on regulating religious affairs, revealed the topic of missionary denominations of new religious movements in the country.In addition, graduates were encouraged to take jobs as specialists in religious studies in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
