The Role of National Education in Strengthening Kazakhstani Patriotism
On March 11, 2022 the round table «The role of national education in strengthening Kazakhstan patriotism» was held, organized by the 2nd year doctoral students of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law.
The moderator was doctoral student B. Shomanov, who introduced the purpose of the round table. It was noted that the main purpose of the event was to bring up the modern youth with love for the motherland, the strengthening of Kazakhstan patriotism and the formation of spiritual and moral values. Video materials on the theme were shown.
The Head of the Department, Professor J. Simtikov addressed to the participants with a welcoming speech. M. Shoinzhanova, employee of the Centre of Anti-Terrorist Training of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, made a report on «National Education as a guarantee of national security». Doctor of Philosophy, Professor D. Kussainov and senior lecturer M. Tasybekova from the team of the chair expressed their views on the formation of the culture and traditions of the Kazakh people as the foundation of the country. Doctoral students Sadyrova A. and Abdurazakova G. made reports «National education as the base of formation of patriotism and national spirit» and «Features of patriotism of youth in the modern Kazakh society. The questions of familiarizing of youth with universal values through the explanation of the specificity of national mentality were touched upon. The dominance of national education in the prevention of extremism and terrorism was noted.
The lecturers of Department and young scientists participated in the work of round table.
