Event «Ardagerlerdii ardaktayik»

On February 28, 2022, on the initiative of student self-government structure of Institute of history and law, in honour of Day of gratitude, the event «Ardagerlerdi ardaktayik» was organized. Students visited the homes of Great Patriotic War veterans living in Medeu district of Almaty, helped the elderly people with household chores, gave them small gifts, played dombra and sang songs, showing their skills.

The main aim of the event was to strengthen ties between veterans and young people, respect for the elderly and traditions, strengthen patriotic education and foster in the younger generation, who are the future of our country, a love for the Motherland and their people.

The veterans recalled the war years, spoke about the events they saw with their own eyes, gave advice and blessed the young people.
