Cities as objects of study

On April 14, 2021, as part of the plan «Month of Science - 2021» of Abai KazNPU, Institute of History and Law, postdoctoral student of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines Talgat Kilybayev held a webinar on the topic «Urbanization: the city as an object of research».

During the scientific event, an overview of the trends of urbanization in the world was conducted and the situation in our country was described. There were discussions about the processes of urbanization and the directions of development of urban science, problems and ways of solving them, as well as the training of urban scientists.

At the end of the webinar, the teaching staff, masters and students of the institute exchanged views, asked questions and received answers.
