The legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the formation of anti-corruption culture»

On November 25, 2020, as part of the «Rukhani zhangyru» Program, the Department of jurisprudence of the Institute of history and law held an interuniversity on-line round table on the topic: «Improvement and coordination of the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the formation of anti-corruption culture». The round table was attended by teaching staff of the Department of law, students and undergraduates of law, psychology and applied computer science from Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, Almaty Management University (Almau), Almaty branch of the Saint Petersburg humanitarian University of trade unions and Abai Kazakh national pedagogical University. Issues discussed: Corruption as a social phenomenon, the formation of an anti-corruption culture as a factor in the development of the rule of law, Kazakhstan`s experience in the fight against corruption, youth against corruption, psychological aspects of corruption, and foreign experience in anti-corruption.

The event was held under the guidance of associate Professor A. M. Seralieva and senior lecturer A. N. Kaziyeva, with the assistance of the head of the Department, prof. E. A.
