Extended meeting with undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department

On October 2, 2020, the Department of Political Science and socio-philosophical disciplines of the Institute of History and law held an extended meeting with doctoral students ofthe 1st, 2nd, and 3rd courses.

The event was attended by Head of the Department Zhomart Simtikov, Head of the Department of JurisprudenceYermek Buribayev and the teaching staff. The following issues were discussed: the approval of the dissertation topics for first-year PhD students and the appointment of scientific managers; the procedure for submitting reports on the implementation of the scientific programme of individual work plans for doctoral students. The publication of articles in scientific journals included in the Scopus database in scientific journals with a non-zero impact factor, according to information provided by Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters), was also considered.

During the meeting, doctoral students asked questions that arise in the educational process, made a number of suggestions for improving methodological support, organization of documentation work.
