Echoes of war - lessons of the past, today`s history!
On April 8, 2020, the Institute of History and Law organized an online exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, on the theme «Echoes of War - a lesson from the past, today`s history». Its exhibits were personal items of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, stored in museums in Almaty.
The exhibition was attended by the head of the literary-memorial complex museum of S.Mukanov and G.Musrepov, laureate of the International Literary Prize «Alash», poet Kairbekov Adilgazy Zhaksylykovich, a researcher at the Almaty Museum - Musayevа Nursulu, guide of Museum of D. A. Kunaev - Eltai Balerke, as well as teachers and students of the institute.
During the online exhibition, Adilgazy Zhaksylykuly made a report «Heroic Example: Pen and Weapon», in which he substantively analyzed the history of the creation of works on military subjects. He especially noted the contribution of cultural figures of Kazakhstan, in particular poets and writers, to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Nursulu Togaimuratkyzy and Balerka Erbolkyzy provided information about the Almaty people who heroically forged a victory on the fronts and in the rear, and spoke about the most interesting exhibits.
At the end of the event, its participants asked questions to the guests, discussed the problems of patriotic education of youth and shared their thoughts.
