International scientific webinar «Identity and poetics of historical memory»

On April 28, 2020, at the Institute of History and Law, an international scientific webinar on the theme «Identity and poetics of historical memory» was held.

The purpose of the webinar: to try to analyze the information matrix of the historical memory of Kazakhstan society, as a dialectical structure, the functioning of which is situational and subordinate to the semantic pragmatics of various discursive logics. The participants in the webinar attempted to outline the contexts of Kazakhstan historiography using concrete examples of historical memory, whose digital environment, media and discursive fields crystallize symmetrically to the information matrix structures of the traditional sociocultural context.

Important in the work of the scientific webinar is a cross-cultural comparison of the data obtained as a result of research. Therefore, the webinar is international - in it, as in subsequent ones, foreign experts will participate in the indicated topics.

A series of webinars will be held as part of the Abai KazNPU grant project «Identity and Poetics of Historical Memory in the Contemporary Historiographic Discourse of Kazakhstan».
