Scientific webinar: The role of the social network in society

On April 10, 2020, a post-doctoral candidate Talgat Kilybayev held an online seminar using the ZOOM platform at the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law. The online seminar «The role of the social network in society» was attended by teachers of the department, master`s and PhD doctoral students. A current statistics on social networks, the results of analytical reports were presented, and the benefits and harms of social networks in modern conditions were discussed during this online event. In addition, the interesting results of modern research on the influence of social networks were shown. At the end of the seminar, participants heard opinions about the features of using social networks, and certain conclusions were drawn here.
