The article «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the status of a teacher» have much in common

On January 24, 2020, the teaching staff and students of the Institute of History and Law discussed the article by the head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the Status of the Teacher».

The purpose of the event is to promote the rich heritage of the great thinker Abai Kunanbayev and publicizing the importance of the recently enacted law. Abay`s wise words and conclusions about strengthening statehood through education will undoubtedly contribute to the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the Status of the Teacher». Since the future of any country depends on the work of teachers who educate and train a new generation.

Director of the Institute of History and Law B.S. Zhumagulov attended the opening ceremony. He emphasized the importance of promoting the work of the scientist among young people, noting that respect for Abai is an effective way of educating the younger generation. The director of the «Hakim Abai» Research Institute Zhabal Shoiynbet, the head of the department of social and philosophical disciplines Zhomart Simtikov and the chairman of the youth committee of the university Didarbek Dildabek also spoke at the event. They emphasized the importance of the topics raised and their commonality. Teachers and students took an active part in the final part of the event, putting forward a number of proposals for the effective use of the results that were obtained in the course of an in-depth study of the great poet`s heritage.
