Republican competition of young historians
With the support of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University faculty of history, archeology and ethnology, members of the club of local historians and ethnographers of the U38 University Alliance of Ethnographers Club held a republican competition of young historians on the theme «Ұлы дала аманаты» - «The Great Steppe Heritage», which consisted of three stages, from October to mid-December 2019.
The main goal of the competition is to reveal the creative abilities of students, create conditions for their intellectual potential, develop their interest in science, attract young scientists to solve modern problems, and support talented and gifted youth.
The main areas of competition work: 1. The spiritual and cultural face of the Great Steppe: a historical study; 2. Seven faces of the Great Steppe and archeology of Kazakhstan; 3. The Golden Horde: Abroad continents and civilizations; 4. Museum business and cultural heritage; 5. The history of the Great Steppe is stored in the archive; 6. Innovations and traditions in ethnological science.
From the Institute of History and Law of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the first-year doctoral student of the specialty «8D01601-History» Krupko Igor and the third-year student of the bachelor`s degree of the specialty «5B011400-History» Karimbaeva Umirnisa, the head of the «Tariqha sayahat» Historical Club, took part in the competition.
On December 12, 2019, the awarding ceremony of the participants of the third round of theis contest took place: Igor Krupko took 3rd place, Karimbaeva Umirnisa became a diploma winner.
The mentor of the contest participants was a candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan named after T.S. Sadykov Dalaeva Tenlik.
