Tenth Summer Championship of Kazakhstan in freestyle and belt wrestlings among students

The Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Institute of Art, Culture and Sport of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University together with the West Kazakhstan State University named after M.Ospanov on May 4-6 in Aktobe held the Xth Summer Universiade on Freestyle Wrestling and Belt Wrestling dedicated to Year of youth.

The team of KazNPU in freestyle wrestling among men took the 4th place among 16 teams. In addition, our students won three medals.
Amirtaev Kuat: gold medal in the weight category up to 61 kg.
Azhy Ali: bronze medal in the weight category up to 97 kg.
Ayzharkynov Nurzhan: bronze medal in the weight category up to 125 kg.

In the men`s wrestling competitions, the team of KazNPU took the 7th place among 19 teams. In this form, our students won four medals:
Zhumahan Dias: silver medal in the weight category of 75 kg.
Zhorabek Ersultan: bronze medal in the weight category + 100 kg.
Kaibulla Akerke: bronze medal in the weight category 52 kg.
Fariza Zulpykhar won bronze medal in competitions among women in the weight category +76 kg.
