Discussion of the University`s Development Strategy for 2018-2025 continues

On 15 February 2019, a meeting of the Deputy Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Erlan Seisenbekov with the teaching staff of the Department of Music Education and Choreography was held. It was a discussion of the main ideas and provisions of the latest regulatory documents of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University: Strategy for the development of the university for 2018-2025, Strategy for the teaching methods and learning technologies development, the main directions and development goals for the transformation of Abai KazNPU into a digital university, a project of a research university, etc.

During the discussion, the teaching staff expressed their opinions on improving the educational programs of the department that meet the needs of the updated content of school education, preparing documents for licensing programs of magistracy and doctoral study on specialties «Music Education» and «Choreography».

Their recommendations were made on revising the content of elective courses in accordance with the needs of the labor market, opening branches at the bases of pedagogical practices, attracting employers, specialists from Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools as experts and co-developers of educational programs, online training and seminars and master classes of leading teachers, musicians, famous choreographers of Kazakhstan.
