In the Republican competition of the best scientific publications, monographs, books devoted to the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan, which was organized by the Association of Higher Education Institutions in honor of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participated academic staff of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports of Abai KazNPU. Deputy director for scientific work of the Institute of Candidate of pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor L.Sh. Kakimova and head of the Chair of Music Education and Choreography, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor M.Dzheksembekova were awarded with diplomas in the nomination "The best scientific articles" published in this period.
President of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions Professor R. Alshanov congratulated the winners of the competition. Among the diiplomants were also the vice-rector for educational work of Abai KazNPU Zh.E. Ishpekbayev and other lecturers of the university.
