Opportunities and conditions for the publication of scientific research in the Scopus and Thomson Reuters databases

On October 10, 2019 at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, at the Department of Geography, Ecology and Tourism a scientific and methodological seminar was held for teachers and doctoral students of the department.

The purpose of the seminar is to familiarize with the possibilities and conditions for the publication of scientific research in publications included in the Scopus and Thomson Reuters databases.

Information materials were delivered by Associate Professor of Geography and Social Sciences at Gazi University Bulent Aksoy (Turkey, Antalya) and doctoral student at the University of Arizona (USA), Mehmet Volkan Kashykchi.

The provisions and requirements of publications included in the Scopus and Thomson Reuters databases were examined in stages and were givenmethodological recommendations for writing scientific articles.
