Charyn canyon Tour

On September 29, 2019, the Institute of Geography and Natural Sciences, following the plan of educational work for the new academic year, organized for students of 1-4 courses a tour of the Charyn canyon, located in the Almaty region.

The informative event was held as part of the implementation of the program «Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity», developed on the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy N. Nazarbayev.

A trip to one of the most unique natural zones of Kazakhstan was held under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Biology Shyngys Uldakhan and Serik Bakirov, as well as the project manager of the «Rukhani Zhangyru» Nursultan Bakenov. During the trip, various games were held, interesting stories were told about this protected place. Students received an unforgettable experience of visiting the Charyn canyon.
