Scientific-practical conference «Integration of higher education and science»

On May 21, 2019, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University there was held a scientific-practical conference «Integration of higher education and science», organized by the Department of Science.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss a wide range of topical issues of the modernization of science in Kazakhstan, an exchange of views. Heads of institutes and leading experts of research institutes, professors and university professors attended the event.

The conference was opened by a welcoming speech of the Abai KazNPU rector, professor Takir Balykbayev. At the plenary meeting, the first vice-rector of Abai KazNPU, professor Maktagali Bektemesov made a presentation on «Achievements of the first pedagogical university in the history of the country».

After the plenary session, the sectional work began: Section 1 - «Problems of the integration of natural science». Moderator: Director of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, Professor Kulyash Kaymuldinova.

Representatives of the Institute of Metallurgy and Enrichment, the Institute of Combustion Problems, the Central Asian Institute for Ecological Research, the Research and Production Center for Microbiology and Virology, the Institute of Zoology, the Kazakh-Russian Medical University and the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition made presentations.

The conference participants held a constructive meeting to discuss the problems of the development of modern science.
