The solemn event devoted to the Independence Day

On December 15, 2018, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University a ceremonial event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The festive event was opened by the rector of the university, professor Takir Balykbaev.

By order of the rector, directors of the institute, deputy directors for educational and scientific-pedagogical work, heads of chairs, professors and teachers were awarded medals «90th Anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Abai» for their contribution to the development of the university and direct social activities. Among them is the head of the Department of Chemistry, associate professor Zhazira Mukataeva.

On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor of the chair of Chemistry Azimkhan Seitzhanov was awarded the «Kurmet» medal.

The solemn event continued with a festive concert with the participation of Kazakhstan pop stars and talented young singers.
