An important step towards a clean and sustainable environment

Take great news from the activists of the eco-club "Ayala"! Activists of the eco-club "Ayala" of our university: Zhumagali Nazerke and Altynbekova Aidana, together with the UNESCO Chair, are pleased to announce that on the 1,3,5,6 floors of the Institute of Natural History and Geography (IHE) of KazNPU named after Abay are now installed boxes for convenient sorting of waste.

Before placing the waste sorting boxes in the building, the most produced types of waste were taken into account, as a result of which the boxes for the following 3 types of waste were installed: waste paper, plastic and aluminum. Besides, a QR code with a special guide on waste sorting was installed on the outside of the box.

This is an important step towards a clean and sustainable environment for all of us. After all, separate waste collection is a practice that promotes sustainability, conserves resources and protects the environment for future generations. Let`s get involved in preserving our globe together!
