Sustainable Development Goals and Education in this direction

On February 1, scientists of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, Department of Geography and Ecology, Candidate of Geographical Sciences K.K. Muzdybaeva and PhD N.D. Shakirova at the specialized gymnasium named after Sh. Ualikhanov held a seminar for teachers and pupils on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals and Education in this direction". As a result of the week, the teachers of the natural science department decided to adapt pupils to science and conduct it in the form of a useful lecture. The topic turned out to be very relevant in conditions of crises, instability in the environment and society. The lecturers told pupils in detail about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and for teachers about the features of education in the direction of sustainable development, its main formative competencies, and learning objectives. The listeners expressed gratitude that the lectures were useful, aroused great interest and hoped for further cooperation in the form of similar events.
