International Aegean Agricultural Congress

Teachers of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU - Associate Professor Galymbek Kanat and PhD Bakirov Serik - took part in the International Aegean Agricultural Congress, organized in honour of the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Republic of Turkey at the Aegean University (Izmir, Turkey). Our young scientists met with the Vice-Rector of this university, Professor Banu Yujel. During the meeting the necessity of continuation of co-operation and expansion of exchange of experience in the sphere of education and science within the framework of the Memorandum between the two universities was announced. In addition, Kazakhstani specialists made a report at the congress, familiarised themselves with the laboratories of the departments of "Plant Protection" and "Garden Plants" of the Aegean University and exchanged experiences.
