Festive event in the dormitory of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography

On March 14, 2023 a festive event entitled "Korisu - treasure of my West" was held in the dormitory No. 2 of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography. Today this holiday is celebrated not only in Western Kazakhstan, Mangistau and Atyrau regions, but also all over our country, as well as in neighboring Astrakhan, Saratov, Orenburg regions of Russia and Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan).

The aim of the event was to shape national values among students by reviving the best traditions of the Kazakh people. The guests of the celebration were an honored associate professor of our university, the chairman of the Council of Veterans Uvaliev Talgat, deputy director of the Institute for educational and social work Bakirov Serik, chairman of the Department of Youth Affairs Praly Rayymbek, warden of dormitory number 2 Iskakova Gulzhan and her colleagues from dormitories number 1 and 3.
