Environmental project competition

Within the framework of the «Decade of Science» at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography on April 11, 2022, a project competition was organized on the theme «Ecologization of biological education in the interests of sustainable development of the Republic of Kazakhstan» with the participation of 1st-year undergraduates of the specialty «7M01513 Biology».

The purpose of the competition: the implementation of work aimed at the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, instilling in students the skills to perform project research.

During the event, undergraduates presented their innovative projects on the topics: «The importance of green schools in environmental protection», «GO Green organization promoting the formation of environmental education and upbringing» and «Saving the Planet: how games help in the fight against climate change». The project competition, in addition to increasing the research interest of undergraduates, contributed to the further development of their projects and the creation of plans for participation in grant funding competitions.
