October is the month of the elderly

On October 16, 2021, an open educational hour «Elderly people are a precious treasure» was held in the 622 auditorium of the educational building No. 1 of the Abai KazNPU. The event was dedicated to the Day of the Elderly as part of the events «October is the Month of the Elderly», organized by 2nd year students of the specialty 6B05301-chemistry according to the annual curriculum of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography. The head of the group is a teacher Marzhan Akhtayeva. The students congratulated the veteran teachers on the holiday, paid tribute to the elder and received blessings on the way to knowledge and life. All the students of the group amicably shared their art, decorated the evening with performances dedicated to the disclosure of the theme, songs and kuys, «dedication to veterans», national and modern group dances.

The event was attended by Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography Kulyash Kaimuldinova, head of the Institute for Educational and Social Work Nurlan Manapov, head of the group of educational programs in chemistry Zhazira Mukataeva, veteran teachers and students and expressed their warm wishes to the guests. An online broad cast was held on the ZOOM platform, in which the 1st year students of the Institute and the teaching staff watched live.

The director of the Institute, Kulyash Kaimuldinova, awarded the organizers with a special Letter of Thanks at the end of the festive event. The students reacted to the first event with great excitement and responsibility and were grateful to the elders.
