Training seminar «Innovative teaching methods»

On September 29, 2021, professors of the department Biology Institute of Natural Science and Geography, Gulzhanat Kamieva and Saule Jamilova organized a training seminar «Innovative teaching methods» with the participation of Master Jacobus Nel from the Wageningen Research University in the Netherlands.

The event was attended by the teaching staff of the institute, doctoral students, undergraduates, students and teachers of biology of basic schools in the city of Almaty.

Jacobus Nel spoke about modern teaching methods and effective interactive strategies used in the education system of his country. 2nd year doctoral students Temirkhan Bakytzhan and Sapanova Nurbanu provided information on the similarities and differences in modern teaching methods in Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.

At the end of the training seminar, the participants received answers from the speakers to their questions about the effective use of innovative methods in the learning process and shared their thoughts.
