On April 6, 2016 on the basis of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS)  the Chair  of Botany and General Biology of the  Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of  Abai  Kazakh National Pedagogical University held a roundtable on  theme: "The botanical diversity and sustainable development".

The round table was attended by:
Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography D.Sc., Professor Kaymuldinova K.D., head of the Cahor of Botany and General Biology PhD, professor Imankulova S.K., Ph.D., professor Aidarbayeva D.K., Ph.D., professor Tungyshbayeva Z.B., PhD, professor Turgumbayeva R.K., PhD, professor  Shalabayev S.Y. and other academic staff of the Institute.
From the NIS participated  deputy director of science S.O. Kadyrov, head of the  Chair of Biology A.A. Abdrakhmanova, biology and chemistry teachers (among them the graduate of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  Temirkhan B.T.), and senior pupils.
Active participation in the Round Table took the director of the Institute of Botany SC MES RK Ph.D., professor Sitpaeva G.T.
