The results of the anniversary visit of foreign guests

The department of the Russian language and literature invited scientists from several countries to the anniversary celebrations in honor of the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Our guests the rector of the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) Professor Zbignev Osadovsky; delegation of the University of Modena (Italy) headed by the Vice-Rector Professor Sergio Ferrari; Doctor of Philology, Professor at the University of Warmia-Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland) Alexander Kiklevich; Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Russian University of Peoples Friendship (Moscow) Uldanai Bakhtikereva; Associate Professor, Deputy Dean for International Activities of Faculty of Humanities of Higher School of Economics (Moscow) Andrey Iserov.

Foreign scientists became participants of the forum the Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities. All of them attended the anniversary events of the university, a solemn meeting at the Palace of the Republic.

At our invitation, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Kazakhstan Selim Khazbievich arrived from Astana, who on 4 October 2018 held a lecture on the theme «Poland`s desire for independence».

An agreement on cooperation has been signed between Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Italian University of Modena.

An interesting cultural program was prepared for the guests. A visit to Almaty, according to foreign scientists was fruitful. They thanked for the warm welcome.
